Learning through seeing, hearing and doing Young children learn through hands-on experiences by seeing, hearing, and doing. Through a combination of breathtaking life-sized art, interesting stories from Indian epics, and fun games, Omthara Kala Kuteera kindles the interest in mythology, history, culture & art in the minds of your children. Your students are bright, smart, and intelligent. They are adept in the mathematics, sciences and technologies of our modern world. However, do they know much about the rich Indian culture and heritage that they are the inheritors and future caretakers of?
Wholesome fun A whole day of wholesome fun, including a tour of Omthara Kala Kuteera, stories on Indian mythologies, indoor games, outdoor games, bullock cart rides, and competitions in painting, singing and sculpting have been planned to entertain and educate your child. Certificates and Prizes will be awarded for various competitions like Painting, Pottery, Singing and Games. A field-trip to Omthara Kala Kuteera is not only a day of fun, but also a day of learning for your students. They get to see breathtaking art depicting Indian epics & mythology, and they get to hear very interesting stories of them as well. All this learning from seeing and hearing is then topped off with hands-on fun-filled activities.
Yummy food for their tummies We will be serving good vegetarian food – a nice breakfast, a good meal for lunch and light snacks before your child heads back home. If your child has any food allergies, then your child may bring food from home provided it is vegetarian food. In all other cases, outside food is not permitted at Omthara Kala Kuteera.
